I Did The Happy Dance Today

I finally became a Giant Squid - all my hard work paid off, and I’m so pleased to have reached the next level.

Congratulations to everyone who was awarded this status today.

I now have so many new great lenses to visit, so I might take a break from creating any new ones for a day or two, and catch up on maintenance of my existing ones, and very importantly work on building my traffic back up.  While focusing on creating new lenses it sure has dropped.

At least the next level - the 100 Club might be a bit easier.  Only 40 lenses to go and 3 months to do it in.

Enjoy the holiday wekend everyone.

    Thanks Daoine and Correen.

Doesn’t it feel good after all that hard work?

I don’t know about you, but last night I felt really tired, so I did a bit of essential maintenance of a couple of lenses and a few pages on my other web sites, caught up with some of my email, looked at a lot of other lenses, and still sent myself to bed late!

This weekend is going to be a process of taking some time off to relax, but also to work on getting traffic back, and to visit a lot of other lenses.

I remember being so exhausted making enough lenses for the first Giant Squid initiation. I think I only had ~ 15 lenses done when they issued the challenge.
Congrats on joining the Giants a well deserved honor.

    Thank You.
I was in about the same position, so many lenses short, and I procrastinated for more than a week before I found a topic for a bunch of new lenses. And then it was a long slog to get them completed.
    But definitely well worth it.
